The stock market dropped for a sixth straight session on Wednesday, falling into 7,400 territory as investor pessimism mounted on news that the peso had hit P54 to the dollar.

The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) fell 0.92 percent or 68.81 points to end at 7,449.20, while the broader All Shares declined 0.44 percent or 20.12 points to finish at 4,577.16.
