SHARE prices gained ground on Friday, taking their cue from their US counterparts, with investor sentiment buoyed by hopes for upcoming trade negotiations between the US and China.

At the noon break, the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) was up 85.47 points or 1.14 percent at 7,602.83 while the broader All Shares was up 36.68 points or 0.80 percent at 4,622.08.
