ZAMBOANGA CITY: Three soldiers were reported dead and nine others injured in a powerful explosion Friday at a military base in the southern province of Sulu.
The military put the blame on the explosion on the Abu Sayyaf, whose leaders have renewed their allegiance to the Islamic State (IS).
