COTABATO CITY: The Regional Board of Investments in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (RBOI-ARMM) said that the Province of Sulu, considered a “no go zone” for investors, registered its first outside investment worth P8 million.
RBOI-ARMM managing head, Ishak Mastura, said the application of Food and Beverage Corp. (SFBC) to set up a factory in Indanan, Sulu to process durian, mangosteen and coconut jams is an investment milestone since no company wanted to put up a business in the province, one of the most conflict-affected areas in the country.
