FREEDOM of speech in the country is "very strong" under the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey released on Saturday.

The poll from June 22 to 26 among 1,200 respondents nationwide showed more than half, or 59 percent, of Filipinos agreed that they could say anything they wanted openly and without fear, "even if it is against the administration."
