Scores of public school students from Taguig took home the Secretary’s Medal at the Youth Excellence in Science (YES) Awards at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.
Eighty-nine students from at least 10 public elementary and high schools in Taguig City were given the recognition in February on the 11th year of the YES rites of the Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute. They were honored along with hundreds of others from across the National Capital Region, who took home bronze, silver and gold medals from various international math and science competitions last year.
