There are about 71.886 million youth and counting in the Philippines today. But the numbers also showed that a big chunk of the youth population are living below the poverty line. While some percentage are part of the labor force, most of them are out-of-school-youth and don’t have a source livelihood due to less employment opportunities available for them and the lack of educational background, among other reasons.
