The making of an entrepreneur

With the third youngest population in Asia Pacific, the Philippines should take advantage of its young population to invoke change and address social issues.

There are about 71.886 million youth and counting in the Philippines today. But the numbers also showed that a big chunk of the youth population are living below the poverty line. While some percentage are part of the labor force, most of them are out-of-school-youth and don’t have a source livelihood due to less employment opportunities available for them and the lack of educational background, among other reasons.
