JULY  27, 2003: Then Lt. Senior Grade Antonio Trillanes 4th, along with Army Captain Gerardo Gambala, leads a mutiny against then president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. The mutineers hold out at the posh Oakwood Apartments in Makati City before surrendering to authorities.

June 30, 2007: Trillanes is sworn in as Senator, despite campaigning from his cell.
