TYPHOON “Tomas” (international name: "Man-yi")) is expected to re-enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) within 12 to 18 hours but is not expected to make landfall, according to the state-run weather bureau on Sunday.

As of 10 a.m., the eye of the typhoon was located at 1,505 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan, slowly moving southwest with maximum sustained wind of 145 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 180 kph, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 11 a.m. bulletin.
