THE country’s trade balance in September hits its widest deficit in nine months as imports expansion continued to surge amid dropping exports growth, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Wednesday.
Inbound shipments rose by 26.1 percent year-on-year to $9.754 billion, PSA data showed, while exports dropped by 2.6 percent to $5.827 billion.
