Coach Caloy Garcia of Rain or Shine said that his wards’ 104-97 win over Barangay Ginebra San Miguel on Saturday, in an out of town game in Lucena, is a great morale-booster as they prepare for their remaining six games in the elimination round of Season 43 Philippine Basketball Association Governors’ Cup.
“The good side about this win is it takes away the frustration. During the start of the conference medyo nagkagulo kami at nawawala sa focus ang team,” Garcia told The Manila Times. “But after the win against probably one of the best teams, I think it is a morale-boosting win for us.”
