BACOLOD CITY: The son of the judge slain in Negros Occidental in 2012 said that if they had their way, they would want the death penalty for his father’s killers.

“We would have wanted a sentence of death but in the absence of such a penalty we are more than happy with reclusion perpetua,” Philip Arles told The Manila Times on Monday.
