The Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) withdrew on Tuesday the accreditation granted to WellMed Dialysis and Laboratory Center over the clinic’s fraudulent claims.
“Today, June 18, 2019, the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. has withdrawn the accreditation of WellMed Dialysis [and Laboratory] Center in view of the fraudulent claims for dialysis services filed on behalf of deceased patients,” the health insurance firm said in a statement.
