If Facebook had the “like” feature, Friendster had its “testi,” which simply overflowed of good vibes. With it, the lifelong bonds of virtual friendship are forever forged. You can demand a sterling testi from your friends and they could write the mundane (how the two of you met) or the memorable (how you changed their lives). But more than anything, this Friendster feature was an endorsement for others to add you as a friend too. This was the ultimate test of friendship in the pre-Facebook era.
