The journey to the 2020 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup begins as the Philippine Girls Under-16 national football team joins the first round of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-16 Women’s Championship 2019 qualifying tournament, slated September 19 to 23 in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The young Malditas will see action in Group E, where it will face qualifier host Nepal on September 19 followed by Southeast Asian neighbors Malaysia and Myanmar on September 21 and 23, respectively.
