THE eldest son of Former president Rodrigo Duterte has told the lawmaker who filed grave threat charges against his father that it was "imperative" upon him to protect his family and that she should also use her passion to protect the victims of communist groups like the New People's Army.

Davao City First District Rep. Paolo Duterte's response came after ACT-Teachers Rep. France Castro took offense at his comments that while public officials have the right to file charges, they should not be "onion-skinned" and should not make use of it as a tool to silence critics.
