On the other hand, Ateneo de Manila University dismantled provincial varsity squad University of Batangas (UB), 3-1, in the other first division game.

Ateneo caught its third win in the competition while condemning UB to seventh straight blowout in the elimination round,

The reserve team of Far Eastern University (FEU) managed to protect its unbeaten run in the second division via a 13-1 thrashing of De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU).
