The country’s privacy watchdog urged public and private offices to heighten their data protection to avoid cyberattacks especially during holidays.

National Privacy Commission (NPC) Commissioner Raymund Enriquez Liboro warned personal information controllers (PICs), personal information processors (PIPs), and data protection officers on the possible spike of cyberattacks.
