SEN. Sherwin Gatchalian on Monday said once the proposed Electric Vehicles and Charging Stations Act is enacted into law, consumer demand for electric vehicles (EVs) in the country will likely increase.
He said electric cars will be more affordable in the long run than the traditional gas-powered ones and will transform the automotive industry.
