Pharmally execs to remain in detention 'until end of 18th Congress' -- Gordon

SEN. Richard Gordon said on Friday that detained executives of the Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp. will remain in their cells until the of 18th Congress if they refuse to cooperate with the hearings on the alleged overpriced medical supplies used for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

Gordon, who presided over the 16th virtual hearing of the blue ribbon committee, stressed that the inherent power of contempt is 'of utmost importance' for the Senate to come out with effective and wise legislation.
