(UPDATE) THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has denied the involvement of its systems in the alleged exposure of 1.2 million records of the bureau's employees and applicants.

The NBI investigated the alleged data breach immediately after cybersecurity research firm VPNMentor reported the matter on April 18, 2023.
